Immersion in nature. To better deal with this change of season, Pian delle Ginestre offers you a special weekend all in the name of psycho-physical well-being starting from the environment: a small clearing surrounded by a centuries-old forest where in this period you can literally breathe the spring air : flowering trees, daisies and green meadows where our glamping tents are located. To the place which is already suggestive and capable in itself of offering well-being and relaxation, we add good vegetarian food (cooked with love by Ilaria and Cristina using the products from the garden and the spontaneous ones that this season offers) and Laura, a passionate yoga teacher who will lead you through different practices into a true and profound connection with nature.
The weekend begins on Saturday with check in (from 14.00 to 19.00) followed by dinner with a vegetarian menu and an overnight stay in one of our tents immersed in the woods where you can admire (we hope) the starry sky directly above your heads. When you wake up you can have a light breakfast to be ready at 9.30 to tackle the journey with Laura: you will start with a meditative walk in the Sassetta woods, where you can contemplate, touch, smell everything that surrounds you, trying to slowly connect with the forest. You will continue with a yoga practice and a meditation with the trees also known as forest bathing. You will return to the glamping where you will find a rich vegetarian buffet. At the end of the brunch, a small workshop will follow where you will learn how to use some wild herbs. There are only 10 places available for the weekend, but another 10 people can be added for the experience with Laura. The route and experience are absolutely suitable for everyone.
Almost everyone knows what yoga is and what benefits it can bring us, but not many know about Forest Bathing. The name derives from an ancient Japanese discipline shinrin-yoku which literally means forest bath... you will not take a real bath but you will immerse yourself in the forest using all your senses to live the experience of nature up close and to take advantage of all the benefits that plants, especially the evergreens that make up our forests, can offer. But this is just a taste, we will delve deeper into the topic in a new article that I am preparing.
